Trim & Baseboards
Baseboards, door and window casing, and crown molding, installed, repaired, or replaced to finish off a room after drywall and paint.
Baseboards and casing take damage right alongside drywall, from water, kicks and scuffs, furniture moves, and general wear. They also get pulled off during a repair, a new install, or a flooring job, and someone has to put them back cleanly. Since we're already on site for the wall work, handling trim in the same visit means one crew, one schedule, and a finished room instead of a wall repair with damaged trim still sitting around it.
When we're replacing a damaged section rather than a whole room, matching the existing baseboard or casing profile matters just as much as texture matching does on a wall repair. We take the existing profile into account so a patched section of trim doesn't stand out from the rest of the room.
Trim work is typically priced by linear foot for baseboard and casing, with crown molding priced a bit higher due to the mitered corners and installation time. As a general guide, standard baseboard replacement often runs in the $4 to $8 per linear foot range including material and labor, with an exact number depending on the profile and finish you choose. Trim is usually the last step after drywall repair, texture, and paint are done, which makes it a natural add-on to any drywall repair or new installation project. We install and repair trim throughout Clearwater, Tampa, and the rest of the Tampa Bay area.
